New background...and another finished anime!
Some friends on Ani-Pock mentioned that my background (the Ruri in a kimono one) was a bit dark and interfered with the text, which I had feared as well, so now I put in another Ruri background!
Today I finished Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. I would nominate is as the least likely to get licensed in the US title of the year.
It's only eight 12 minute episodes (i've seen half so far) but they are all over the top. Dokuro-chan showed up one day in Sakura's room and continually causes much havock (as well as much death to Sakura, always reviving him afterwards) so that he won't invent something later in life. You see, Dokuro-chan is an angel from the future where things are terribly wrong due to the invention. Another angel has also come, but she aims to kill Sakura permanently...
A bat named "Excaliborg", gratuitous blood and guts, a bit of ecchi fanservice (sans nudity), and angels that get severe diarhea when they lose their halos...not gonna get a license anytime soon.
Oh, did I mention the monkey headed class president?
I still enjoyed it immensly and I was pleasantly surprised by the happy ending. It's not an anime for everyone, but if you are into comedy as much as I am, you'll like it too.
