Green Green!
I just finished Green Green (TV). Apart from the 'different' style character design, the ecchi-ness, and fanservice (of which I am truly a fan! ;>) it turned out to be quite an emotional show for me.
I don't want to spoil it for you! This show will soon be released in the US by Media Blasters if you can't/won't download.
I haven't seen the OVA Erolutions, but avoid the first OVA. It was the basis for the series and is only worth watching if you want the full monty on the whole of Green Green. Just be warned; you'll be disappointed, especially if you watch the TV series first, as I did.

My first forum post!
Well, actually I blew it. I had planned an elaborate post on anime references to Okinawa Prefecture (which I'll get to eventualy) but was confounded by the question of Futaba's T-shirt from Green Green. Here's the link to the post on AnimeNfo.com. Careful! There are spoilers!!

Where does the time go?
Really I have been trying to catch up with the series i have been watching; I haven't even updated my anime list on ANN! I did pick up the latest volumes of Kodocha and Maboraho, as well as volumes 4 & 5 of Tenjou Tenge.
I've also done some research into what animes reference Okinawa, which is a Japanese island near and dear to my heart! Look for a post on my very first post to the anime forums i frequent, coming soon!
