Elfen Lied...
I picked up volume 3 and it fleshed out a whole mess of storyline for me! Things are starting to fall into place and I can feel empathy for (maybe not the most) the viscious characters. There was a very extremely unnesessary bit of fanservice when Nana has the dream of the burnt money! What the hell, I love fanservice!! I can't wait for volume 4 (the final one)! I hope they release the OVA as well.
Here's a scene form episode 8:

Inu Yasha Movie 3...
I took a break from setting up our house to watch
Inu Yasha Movie 3: Swords of an Honorable Ruler.
Seshomaru and Inu Yasha are at each other again, this time over another sword which was used by their father. Dad is finally seen in humanoid form, as well as Inu Yasha's mother. The frist part of the film shows what happened at Inu Yasha's birth and also the death of his father.
This was by far the best of the Inu Yasha movies released on DVD so far. There was much more action and comedy, although I do not begrudge the romantic moments the other films portrayed. As an added bonus, the DVD came with the OST inside!
My kids and I all love this series (we have the three movies and 31 of the DVD releases so far!). Hey, it's an addiction...

Yumeria...
I watched the first episode on my Newtype USA sample DVD. It is a slightly different twist on the all too familiar, fanservice laden, Geek-gets-mysterious-female-visitor genre. Of course, I enjoyed it! What struck me was the style of the animation, which seemed a bit lacking for some reasomn I can't quite get a handle on. I'll buy the series, though; hey, I'm addicted!!
